Photoshop CS6's Amazing Patch Tool

August 24, 2012 by
See the CS5 & CS6 Patch tool in action!

In this video, you'll learn how to use Photoshop's amazing Patch tool to remove an object. We'll take a look at how it worked in Photoshop CS5 versus using the new Content-Aware option in CS6. To watch it, give this link a click to visit the Layers Magazine web site: http://lesa.in/Sxd64a

The important thing here is that by using the new Content-Aware option in CS6, you get a "Sample All Layers" checkbox that lets you use the Patch tool on an empty layer, preventing you from having to duplicate image layers to edit non-destructively. I hope you enjoy the video!
